Every Ascend subscription is backed by a data processing agreement that makes the controller/processor split explicit: your organization controls the data, Ascend processes it on documented instructions.
What the DPA covers
- Scope and duration of processing, and the categories of data subjects and personal data involved.
- Hosting location for customer data, agreed per organization.
- Security measures, including tenant isolation, permission-aware retrieval and the append-only audit record.
- Sub-processors, including the language-model provider, with notice of changes.
- How people review automated outputs before they affect someone, and how employees can respond.
- What happens to customer data on termination, and assistance with data subject requests.
Ascend is not yet incorporated. The DPA will name the contracting entity and governing law before it is signed.

Email [email protected] with your organization's name and the contact who should receive it. We send the current DPA for signature alongside your order form; redlines go through the same contact.
