Talent pool

Put your CV in front of employers.

Upload it once. Employers hiring on Ascend search the pool in plain language and contact you directly — no account, no password, and you can remove it at any time.

  • We confirm by emailing the address on your CV
  • No employer sees it until you confirm
  • One link removes it, forever

How it works

Three things worth knowing before you upload.

  • We read the email address on your CV and send a confirmation link to it — never to an address typed into this page. That is what stops anyone else uploading your CV and claiming it.
  • Your CV is not in the pool, and no employer can see it, until you open that link. If you never do, we delete it within 48 hours.
  • Every email we send carries a link that removes your CV completely. No account, no password, and no form to fill in.
Your data

What we keep, and what we throw away.

Who can see my CV?
Employers with an Ascend account, once you have confirmed. They see your experience and how to contact you. You can ask us which of them were shown your CV — we keep that record precisely so that we can answer.
Do you keep the file I upload?
No. We read the document, strip out the things an employer has no business deciding on — date of birth, sex, marital status, religion, photographs — and keep only the remaining text. The original file is never stored and cannot be downloaded by anyone.
How do I remove it?
Open the link at the bottom of any email we have sent you and confirm. It is deleted outright, not hidden or flagged, and employers stop finding it immediately.
How long do you keep it?
Two years from your last activity, and we write to you before that happens. An upload nobody confirms is deleted within 48 hours.
Will you email me about anything else?
No. We send you two things: the link that confirms your CV, and the link that removes it. No newsletters and no job alerts. Anything else comes from an employer, directly to you. Questions to [email protected].
